Which Teacher Training & Induction Providers do we work with?
At North Cambridge Academy we are committed to providing education with outstanding practitioners. Each year we take on and support trainees (ITTS) and Early Careers Teachers (ECTs) through a variety of providers.
We work closely with the following ‘Outstanding’ ITT providers:
- Teach First (Teach First)
- The Cambridge Partnership The Cambridge Partnership – Developing inspirational teachers for the future (campartnership.org)
We deliver our Early Careers Induction through the following providers:
- Teach First & Cambridge & Peterborough Training School Network. Following the Early Careers Framework through this delivery partner, ECTs have access to a two-year package for them and their mentors. Rated ‘outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted, it is supported and fully funded by the Department for Education. Delivered through a mix of face-to-face and online modules, the programme is structured to help Early Career Teachers integrate theory, practice, and feedback. This happens alongside a well-planned, in-house CPD programme, that links with the teacher standards, as well as the online learning modules, provided by Teach First.
