Admissions

North Cambridge Academy welcomes your application and the admissions policy is set out in the link below. We have a pupil admission number (PAN) each academic year of 150 students. This allows us to ‘know every child’ and personalise the curriculum to ensure every child achieves the very best outcomes they can. We have the capacity for 750 students and the expectation, due to the expansion of Cambridge and local demographics, is that all places will be filled within the next two years.

As an Academy, the Academy Council is responsible for establishing the Admission Criteria and oversubscription criteria for the Academy; the Academy Council agreed to follow the admissions and oversubscription criteria set out by Cambridgeshire County Council. These criteria have not been changed significantly by the Academy Council following the establishment of the Academy. The responsibility for the administration of the Admissions process remains with the Local Authority.
