Match report from Miss Carroll PE Teacher- Girls’ Football Grand Prix – Second Round
The girls played in the second round of the Football Grand Prix this week. Despite the cold and windy conditions the girls’ spirits stayed high with them showing fantastic energy levels. The team worked really well together, displaying fantastic resilience and determination. The team improved with every game which reflected in the results. We are now 9th out of 14 with one more round to play in the new year. With the girls commitment to training I’m sure that  we will continue to move up the points table. Debut game for: Kia Streetly, Keeli Best-Reed and Louise Balment who have now all achieved their Bronze Excellence Pledge.

Match Report from Mr Harris Curriculum Leader Sport
The year 7’s came up against a very strong Cambourne Village college team and were unfortunately knocked out of the county cup 4-0. They worked very tirelessly  for the entire match but were beaten by the better team on the day. Special praise to Charlie White and Ali Yeter who shared the goalkeeping duties and kept the score respectable. In the first 6 aside fixtures of the season under the floodlights both the year 10 & year 11 lads recorded excellent wins in fiercely competitive contest against CATS college. There were some wonderful goals and performance from Jaime Pither and Steven Spaxman.
